As a forward thinking business we are constantly aware that we need to hone our skills, thinking and approach and continually re-imagine how we design, develop and deliver projects.
We want to continually improve our approach and this is always centred around our client, we set trends, rather than following the pack. We want to lead the thinking on business-related issues and development needs, then share that knowledge with our customers and partners.
To that end, the Sewell Group Project Development team is now based at The Studio, a building that was developed in partnership with our supply chain. The Studio is a space that we consider to be integral to our growth; an inspirational facility that allows us to constantly and continually develop what we do and the way we do it.
The Studio is an innovative concept and the place where Sewell develops its highly unique, ground-breaking methodology or as we like to call it ‘oven ready projects’. It enables us to deliver and share best practice and continuous improvement internally, within our supply chain and amongst partner organisations.
The Studio is a working office, immersion space, a showroom, skills academy, entertainment centre and a cafe networking facility – for Sewell Group, our supply chain, the wider business community and educational establishments such as colleges and schools.
As a working office, The Studio houses the team that explores the scope of development projects in order to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery that exceeds expectations.
That real-world working space sits alongside the facility’s conference spaces, a constant reminder that business needs to be – and is being – done at a world-class level.
Those same spaces play host to educational visits and we are very enthusiastic about our ability to play a part in the education of young people. As such, we are ideally placed to give educators an insight into the realities of BSF schools and can prepare teachers and students for the experience that awaits. Indeed, the showroom and immersion zones contain examples of the very same furniture, equipment and ICT that will be used within the city’s new BSF schools – all within an incredibly fun, safe environment.
The Studio is also the home of
‘we ❤ mondays’ – our very own open-house, café-style, meeting place that fosters a greater level of engagement, understanding and communication between us all.
As an incubation space for new ideas, a demonstration zone to display our wares, as a training facility and a welcoming place in which we can engage with all of our partners, to all intents and purposes The Studio is a ‘working world business development centre of excellence’.
